This property owner in Clarence opened his storage building, only to find a massive yellowjackets nest in the door jam. This incredible structure was more than three feet across and nine layers tall, and took two of us firehosing this nest with product for over 15 minutes and dismantling it chunk by chunk, advancing and retreating as angry yellowjackets attacked us.

Can you find the nest?
This huge hornets nest hanging from a tree branch at a home in East Amherst pretty much rendered the back yard pool unusable.

Here at Bugbusters, we've come across some strange and challenging yellowjackets nests to handle over the years. Gotta say that a radioactive nest would be a first!

The nest at a site in South Carolina had a radiation level 10 times what is allowed by federal regulations, but it does not present a danger, officials said.

Happy 50th birthday Kulyk Exterminators Inc!
On July 1, 1975 our business founder Alex Kulyk, a beekeeping hobbyist, was dispatched to a house in Depew to collect what he thought was a honeybee swarm. On arrival, the homeowner showed him a small gray hornets ball. Not bees.
So dad had an idea. "Ma'am those aren't bees they're wasps. Pay me $15 and I'll kill them for you and take away the nest." She agreed, dad went to the hardware store, picked up product, and took care of things. And a small business was born!

In honor of our milestone anniversary, Tim was passing out Fairycakes cupcakes to all our pest control customers on today's route. This happy homeowner in Lancaster enjoyed her savory treat!
