Dear All,
Due to the recent COVID-19 outbreak Copper Electric, Inc. has reviewed their customer appointment policies and have made the following changes:
1. ALL customer requested electrical fixture change outs and additions are on hold until later dates after the threat of COVID-19 has passed.
2. Any 1 year warranty requests that are not essential to the electrical operations in the home will be put on hold until the virus threat has passed, this includes;
a. Leveling outlets, switches and fixtures, flushing outlets, switches and fixtures (unless safety concerns are present). These appointments will be put on an extended dates.
b. This will not affect their warranty period. We are extending the 1 year contractual warranty period for as long as this situation warrants.
3. We will still set appointments for homeowners that have any electrical outages in the home. I.e. Tripping breakers, outlets and wiring that is essential to the electrical operations in the home. We will limit access to the home as much as possible to fix these problems, for safety of the homeowner and out technicians.
4. When scheduling we will ask the homeowner if there is anyone with an illness of any kind in the home. If one is present we will make necessary appointment decisions on a case by case situation.
These policies will stay in effect until the COVID-19 outbreak virus concerns have passed. At which time we will start scheduling for customer requests and nonessential warranty concerns in a timely fashion.
