A BIG SHOT local landscaper said on a local news channel the other night that it was best to water between midnight and 6 A M. Bu****it. Remember that is when mold forms on grass and especially St. Augustine. It will also cause a lot of mold on shrubs and trees. Watering should be done just after sunrise or just before sunset. Believe it, you will NEVER SEE A SOD FARM WATERING AT NIGHT!!!!!

There was sense of things not being so good with the economy. We didn't get the usual hats and hand outs like years past. Everyone is tightening their belts. Prices were good on trees and plants but companies like Pavestone and Kichler are holding fast to their high prices. So we buy from someone else.....

It was interesting at the TNLA show. There were a lot more plant people there than usual. I guess after this drought and heat Texas is going to need a lot of plants next year. We hope the drought breaks and the heat goes back to mexico along with the mexicans.
