Good morning from the Bullhead Community Garden. I took a stroll around the gardens this morning while the saguaro was getting a good drink of water and was happy to see so much green. Even coming off a week over daytime temperatures hovering around 120 and the nights over 90, we have quite a few successes. What are doing the best are watermelons, eggplant and zucchini. There are some peppers but they’re just hanging in there waiting for cooler temperatures.

Out in the garden this morning checking on things. Watered the saguaro and planted some more pumpkins seeds in our pumpkin patch. Also strolled around and checked out how the gardeners beds are doing so far this summer.

Out at the break of dawn today preparing the land and sowing the pumpkin seeds for our pumpkin patch. Time to watch it grow and prepare for our harvest festival coming up this Fall.

The dirt arrived at the bullhead community garden today so we can get the pumpkins planted tomorrow for our pumpkin patch festival coming up this Fall. Thank you so very much Star Nursery for your donation!

Look what’s coming to the Bullhead Community Garden this Fall. We are Seeking Volunteers to get the ball rolling (preparing the ground and getting the pumpkin seeds sown) so we can have a pumpkin harvest ready for October.
