How Rebates Work
Rebate amounts are based on paid invoices submitted with your completed application. Funding levels vary by property type:

Residential Properties

Up to 75% rebate (maximum $5,000) for converting grass to artificial turf

Up to 75% rebate (maximum $2,500) for converting grass to rock and low-water-use plants

Small/Medium Commercial, Multi-Family, and Industrial Properties

Up to 75% rebate (maximum $10,000) for converting grass to artificial turf

Up to 75% rebate (maximum $5,000) for converting grass to rock and low-water-use plants

Homeowners Associations (HOAs)

50% rebate on qualifying project costs starting at $50,000

Minimum rebate: $25,000 | Maximum rebate: $50,000

Removal of high-water-use vegetation may qualify for 50% reimbursement for project costs between $20,000 and $50,000

Large Commercial, Multi-Family, and Industrial Properties

Dollar-for-dollar matching rebate from $25,000 to $50,000 for projects converting grass to artificial turf, rock, water-wise plants, or a combination
