Introducing Nick Langston

🔶Where did you grow up, and what brought you to your current city?
I grew up between Bullhead and San Diego. I decided to stay in Bullhead City because I like the small town.

🔶Describe your ideal weekend.
My ideal weekend is hanging out with my kids and spending the weekend with my little family.

🔶What is your favorite part about your job and why?
My favorite part of my job is always learning something new and also planning it out and seeing the final product.

🔶 What are you looking forward to doing in this role?
I’m looking forward to progressing in the fire alarm side of the business and soaking in all the knowledge I can from Mike, the Fire Manager. He has a really good teaching style and has trust in me to get the job done right, no corners cut.

🔶How do you best collaborate with colleagues?
I enjoy working with all the guys we couldn’t have a more solid group of techs. We all love to help each other and learn from each other and just grow the business together.

The team, we are like a family that get stuff done while having a good time doing it.

Be patient and think outside of the box when troubleshooting

I flew an airplane in Hawaii

Let's find out what makes Bill so awesome!

📣Where did you grow up, and what brought you to your current city?
Grew up in Garden Grove, CA. Spent 8 years in the Navy after High School. I followed my wife to Needles, CA after the Navy in 1987.

📣Describe your ideal weekend.
Hanging out with family and attending Grandkids sports.

📣What is a fun fact about you that may surprise people?
I was a runner in High School and still hold the Freshman 880yd record for Garden Grove League.

📣What drew you to this field, and how did you get started?
Working maintenance at Verde Shores and did not want to spend another summer cutting Oleanders. Was told that Desert Alarm needed a tech. They had just fired their only one. I talked to the owner the next afternoon and that day I became an Alarm Technician. That was May 10, 2004.

📣Which of your professional accomplishments are you most proud of?
Keeping at it for 22 years.

📣It's time once again for another team member highlight 📣

Let me introduce another one of our awesome techs so you can get to know him a little better —
Meet Ethan Thomas!

🔺Where did you grow up, and what brought you to your current city?
Bullhead City, baby! Still here and not going anywhere!
🔺What is your favorite hobby, activity, or creative outlet?
The variety. One day you can go from simple residential burglar systems to another doing full blown commercial automation and access. Included are the people I interact with day to day, everyone is different and always has a new story to share.
🔺What about this job and company appealed to you?
The friendliness and family we built. Each of our team members has their own personality that heavily influences our success. We feed off each other’s energy, tossing around ideas—good, bad, or wild—to figure out the best way to move forward, together.
🔺What are your favorite work tools/technologies?
Klein tools. Specifically that 27 in 1 screwdriver. If one has not yet invested in the little guy, I highly recommend it. From small home repair to commercial installs, that thing cranks away with ease.

I mostly grew up in BullheadCity. Lived in Flagstaff, AZ for 26 years, then back to the Tri-state area in 2019.

🔥Describe your ideal weekend.
Relaxing, Cooking Good Food, Spending Time With Family.

🔥What drew you to this field, and how did you get started? Started in Firefighting, then began Fire Protection in 1995.

🔥What aspect of the organization makes you proud to work here?
I’m very happy to be a part of this Alarmtek Family and the sky is the limit with where we are heading!
