🌳 Storm Damage Response — Lake Anna, VA 🌳

We’ve made it to our first emergency project of the day after last night’s severe storms. This property has multiple broken and suspended trees over two boats and the home, along with a large pine and very large red oak that uprooted into the house and ripped the chimney off.

If you were affected by last night’s storms, please don’t hesitate to call us. We ask for a little patience as we prioritize the most dangerous situations, but I promise—we will get to you.

🌳 STORM DAMAGE UPDATE — PLEASE STAY SAFE 🌳

The calls started coming in yesterday afternoon when the storms hit, and they haven’t stopped. I just received another emergency call at 5:00 this morning, and I’m currently headed to a property with multiple trees down or partially failed and hanging over structures. One of the trees actually ripped the chimney from the client’s home.

First and foremost, we’re praying everyone made it through these storms safely.

If you have storm damage, please do not hesitate to call us. We WILL get to you and do everything we can to help. We just ask for a little patience with our small business as we work through the tremendous number of calls coming in.

We wake up every day striving to set a different standard in this industry, and that doesn’t change when things get hectic. We’re not going to sacrifice safety or quality just to rush from one property to the next.

🚨 Emergency situations will be prioritized. Trees on homes or other structures, partially failed or suspended trees, and situations presenting an immediate threat to people or property will naturally have to come first.

For insurance-related storm damage, we’re happy to work with your insurance company and help take as much of that stress off your shoulders as possible.

Woodchuck is properly licensed and insured for our clients’ protection, and your property will be handled by experienced professionals backed by ISA Certified Arborist and TRAQ qualifications.

Most importantly, PLEASE do not attempt to handle partially fallen, hung-up, uprooted, or storm-damaged trees yourself. Trees under tension can move without warning, and these are some of the most dangerous situations we encounter.

🌳 Today was one of those days we won’t forget. 💚

Over the last few days, we’ve been working for a new client on a pretty hazardous project—large trees over the home and one very large, very dead tree close enough that a failure in the wrong direction could have caused devastating damage.

This morning, we finished everything up.

Our client walked over with a huge smile, shook my hand, and told me how happy he was with our work, professionalism, and knowledge.

That alone would have made our entire week.

But then he handed me something.

He had taken the time to put together a DVD compilation of pictures and videos of our crew working on his property for us to keep.

I know that might sound like a small thing to some people…but seeing the pride on his face when he handed it to me was honestly one of the coolest things a client has ever done for us.

I’ve always said that a happy client is one of the greatest compliments we can receive. Reviews are amazing. Recommendations are amazing. But moments like this remind us that there are real relationships behind every property we work on.

So today, we simply want to say THANK YOU.
