We’re not sure how you guys feel, but the team is sick of all this rain. ☔️ We were finally able to pour this driveway last week for a customer in Hermitage, PA after what seemed like a never-ending monsoon. We’re looking forward to some sunny summer days ahead! ☀️

As someone who has their own small business and has been working in the trades since the age of 16, I have a soft spot for this type of work. I think it’s important to let kids, who are getting ready to graduate high school, know that college doesn’t have to be for everybody and there are plenty of other jobs/options available to them. Meikle Concrete was able to work with Badger High School to bring local small business owners/companies in and get the chance to educate the students about careers and opportunities in the trades. I’m so glad we had such a good turn out for our first annual “Trades Day,” and am looking forward to having more guests come next year!
