This base was left on the infield of the amateur field. Please remember to take your things off the grass when you’re done. It has killed a spot in the grass that will need to be replanted now. A lot of time and effort goes into keep our fields nice. Please pickup your things, your trash, etc. That way we can continue to keep things nice.

With the hot weather approaching and lawn care eventually slowing down a bit, I’ll have some openings available for exterior painting projects.

If you—or someone you know—has been thinking about painting your house, garage, or shed, I’d appreciate the opportunity to provide an estimate.

My dad owned and operated his own house painting business, so growing up I spent plenty of summers as the “free labor” (at least when we could get along 😂). Over the years I’ve painted several homes of my own and for customers, and it’s something I genuinely enjoy doing.

Lawn care remains my top priority, and I’ll continue taking care of my mowing customers first. Painting projects will be scheduled around my lawn care routes and other commitments, with availability opening up as the season progresses.

✔ Houses
✔ Garages
✔ Sheds

Feel free to message me or call/text 605-215-8289 for a free estimate.

And as always, referrals are greatly appreciated!

Today we aerated and over-seeded the play ground area at the Burke grade school! Then I applied a pre-emergent herbicide that will deter w**d growth but not affect the new seed. It looks rough at the moment but in a couple of weeks I’ll be back for updated pictures!

Did some reseeding on the third baseline tonight. Hope to have some new grass in a few days! 🙏🙏🤞🤞

Today we took another big step toward improving our Amateur Field!

The field was aerated and overseeded, with the grass seed generously donated by Braden Hutchinson and the labor and equipment donated by Trimmin’ Tom.

This project has truly been a community effort. Earlier this season, Wade Broome and David “Frog” Green volunteered their time to dethatch the outfield before it was fertilized. Then last week, Braden returned and completed a second round of dethatching to help prepare the field for today’s work.

It’s great to see so many people stepping up to help improve a field that means so much to our community. What started as a simple maintenance project has turned into a full-scale renovation, and it wouldn’t be possible without the generosity, hard work, and support of local volunteers.

Thank you to everyone who has donated their time, equipment, and effort. We can’t wait to see the results in the months ahead!

I wanted to take a moment to share a quick update with everyone.

On Easter Sunday, I suffered a torn meniscus in my right knee and underwent surgery two weeks ago to have it repaired. Since then, I’ve been in a full leg brace and on crutches, with about four more weeks of recovery ahead.

If I haven’t been able to reach out or respond, I sincerely apologize and appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. I truly value each and every one of you.

I have my two-week post-op appointment today and I’m hoping for good news as I continue working toward getting back to full speed.

Thank you all for bearing with me—I’ll be back out there soon.

If you have any questions or need anything in the meantime, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Most people fertilize their lawn…
…but skip the steps that actually make it THICK and w**d-free.

That’s the difference. Honestly.

🥇 Gold Lawn Plan (Best Results)

This isn’t just fertilizing one time and spraying once the w**ds are everywhere, and hoping that it gets better, This is a full program with no gimmicks.

✔️ 5 seasonal applications
✔️ W**d control all season
✔️ Core aeration
✔️ Overseeding for thicker grass
✔️ Fall winterization

👉 This is how you fix thin, patchy lawns and keep w**ds from completely taking over, and eventually eliminating, any hope for grass to flourish.

Not everyone needs this plan…or probably wants it. If you weren’t happy with your lawn last year, doing the same thing again won’t improve it.

If you want your lawn to actually stand out this year—this is it.
