**Heavy Diesel Mechanics Wanted**

We're looking for experienced heavy diesel mechanics who specialize in servicing and repairing heavy vehicles and machinery, including trucks, trailers, and but not limited to logging equipment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Maintenance and Repair:** Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on diesel-powered vehicles, including routine services like oil and tire changes, as well as more complex repairs involving pistons, bearings, gears, and valves..

- **Diagnosing Issues:** Conduct diagnostic tests to identify issues with vehicles and interpret test results accurately.

- **Documentation:** Maintain detailed records of all serviced units, including inspection reports and repairs, using a purchase order system coordinated with the office.

- **Test Driving:** Test drive vehicles to evaluate their performance after repairs.

- **Collaboration:** Work effectively with other mechanics and manage a team of trainees as needed.

- **Client Communication:** Clearly explain automotive problems and repairs to clients to ensure understanding.

**Qualifications:**

Candidates should be proficient in diesel engine mechanics and technology, have strong skills in using various tools (including wrenches and diagnostic computers), and be capable of troubleshooting electrical systems.
