It depends on the vehicle that you have. For trucks, you need a minimum of 14’ wide and 24’ long per vehicle. A standard two-car garage is 24’x 36’ to allow for some storage. Car ports are similar to garage sizes, and have a 4’x 6’ storage container built into them. All of this, whatever you choose, will be included in the bid.

Manufactured homes are set two ways: pit set and grade set. For pit sets, we sink the house into the ground. This is our more aesthetic choice because there is less foundation visible, which makes it look more like a traditional stick built house. We cannot do pit set when the ground or water table is too high. Grade set is where we set the slab foundation at the height of the ground. This makes the house higher up. This is a good option if you are concerned about water or want to take advantage of a good view. Every home is about 36-42” off the ground. That doesn’t change because that’s where all the plumbing and electrical run.

If it is in good condition and you have the title, you can probably sell it. Most will just need to be demolished and rebuilt. The cost of this depends on how far away your property is from a transfer station that will receive demo’d houses. The only cities in the area that do this are Burlington and Arlington. The farther away from these transfer stations you are, the more it will cost.
