Lexington, MA - Hammond A. Hosmer House - Site work to facilitate relocation of a 180 year old house:

Originally constructed in the 1840's the Hammond A. Hosmer House was originally located at 1557 Mass Ave in Lexington, MA, and chosen as the site of the Town's new Police Station. After a lengthy process, it appeared the house would be demolished to make way for the new Police Station. We are pleased to have been chosen by the new owners, to complete the site work to facilitate the relocation including - lot clearing, site enabling, excavation and backfill of the new foundation including additions, and other related site work to facilitate the process of moving the Hosmer House across town to its new location for hopefully another 180+ years!
