*** FREEZE INFO ***
With this awful freeze coming, we know there will be a lot of customers without water and with broken pipes.
With that being said I have a few things that will help tremendously and some other things that yall need to know.
1. Running water can’t freeze and it won’t hurt your pump
2. Turning the power off and draining it down will cause you to have broken pipes. You can never get all the water out unless you hook air to it and blow it out.
3. If your pipes freeze, double check the well itself and turn the faucet on at the tank, if you don’t have water, turn the power off to the pump.
4. It will not get above freezing from Saturday night till Monday morning. If you call us and tell us that you don’t have water, we are going to to simply tell you that it’s freezing outside and that it’s going to stay that way till Monday. If you don’t have water at lunch on monday. Call back.
5. We are running in ONE service rig. We will get to you AS SOON AS WE CAN. Please don’t call numerous times asking if we are still coming. If we tell you that we will be there, we will make it happen.
6. ** Most Important ** Sunday they are calling for a lot of ice which means black ice on the roads. I will not put Ty, myself or my service rig at risk on the roads on Sunday if I think it’s too dangerous, end of story. We both have families and little ones to get home to.
7. If we don’t answer the phones, PLEASE leave a voicemail or shoot us a text. If we are in water with glue and cleaner on our hands, we aren’t going to answer. 979-830-0625 is our office number, Samantha will take all calls as usual.
8. Heat lamps and space heaters work wonders. The biggest thing that helps is keeping the wind off the equipment!
9. PATIENCE!!!! Plumbers and ourselves will be slammed and running like crazy!
10. After all this is said and done, we will need a hot meal and cold beer, ribeyes and coors light will work if you’re feeling generous!
