Joseph Scherer Electric is currently looking to hire an Experienced Residential Electrician as well as an Experienced Commercial Electrician. We are an established electrical contractor located in Butler, PA. We offer hourly competitive wages plus overtime, health care, 401K, vacation and paid holidays.
Skills Required:
• Ability to work productively and independently with little supervision.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting and solve electrical problems.
• Provide support and assistance to lead electrician.
• Minimum 4 years commercial experience.
• Able to read electrical schematics, diagrams and blueprints.
• Knowledge of single phase and three phase wiring, Cat 5 wiring and motor controls.
• Valid drivers license.
• Must be dependable with reliable transportation.
• This is a full time position.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with customers and guide their expectations
• Understand/apply the electrical code as applicable to current tasks
• Use resources and time efficiently
• Collaborate with other team members
• Order/track materials and document job notes/invoices
• Future Foreman – Must supervise and ensure that their crews stay on schedule and provide quality work.
