After 30 years of research, Penn State startup reinvents the putting green

Spring Lake Golf Club in Spring Lake Heights, New Jersey, is one of a number of courses throughout the country that are now using a type of grass that was once considered a w**d on their putting greens. PennPoa, a startup based on Penn State research, is playing a critical role in making the grass the go-to seed for luxury courses.
