Last year, my dad broke his foot and was unable to cut his lawn, so he hired a big landscaping business to do the job. They came to our house and left our lawn looking like a blindfolded hairstylist would buzzcut her client's hair. Seriously, it looked ridiculous. What's worse is that they wanted to charge my dad extra to stripe his lawn. My friend cut grass on the side, so I called him and asked

if he could help. He came over and mowed our lawn, and when my dad looked at it, something stood out in particular. My friend striped the grass to perfection. It sounds silly, but my dad was jumping on his crutches like they were two pogo sticks. "It looks better than the Pirates' outfield!" he yelled. I'm (Berk) really into business stuff, so I told my friend that we should start our own lawn care business that utilizes the striping techniques that he uses at no extra charge. We planned everything out over the winter, and now LandShark is ready to roll!
