Helping another tree company pull one off a house in pittsboro this morning with our friends at high solutions. Debbie’s coming but don’t let her get you down! Working at one of my favorite places on some of my favorite trees hetlanduis is a charming little wedding venue in pittsboro whom we’ve worked for in the past. This round we performed a scope of work which included removing one pine and some phased reduction work and structural pruning and deadwood removal on 6 other trees and treating a frothy flux infection on the oak tree the wedding goers take photos under. One of the pecans had a cable previously installed which we inspected while we were aloft grabbing deadwood. The pecan was cabled after surviving a house fire and being revealed to be hollow. We will be back in the winter for more pruning and reduction work. Elongating the lifespans of these wonderful trees is something we’re proud to be a part of and I’m happy cooler heads prevailed in deciding to make the effort for preservation. Sometimes the best thing you can do for a tree is give it a chance!

Pretty proud of this one. Today we shut down sycamore street in Oxford to utilize a 55 ton crane in the removal of this damaged maple tree. 6 hours in and out with some pretty great city views in between picks, turnkey job debris removal and stump grinding included 😎 we’re big tree specialist and it’s an honor to be selected to orchestrate the removal of a tree as old as the city surrounding it. We recently took these three mature willow oaks planted in the 30s and a street side maple under our care in Henderson nc. 25 or so hours this past week with a pole saw and handsaw. All deadwood over 1.5” removed and we will be back in the fall for more phased reduction work. It’s a humbling experience to care for these old trees and we’re honored to have the opportunity!

The team tackled this large willow oak removal in Oxford this morning with help from our freinds at Top Pick Crane LLC Tree Tremors LLC and JC's Arborcare, LLC the lower sections were salvaged by Wild Edge Woodcraft to live on as table tops. Thankful to have the chance to collaborate with other local professionals and for another job well done!

Removing some large hangers in a willow oak in Durham today. We removed the two broken branches one of which was just propped and wedged throughout multiple crotches in the tree. We will continue to monitor area where the split occurred in the years to come but felt it was best to leave it be so the tree can have ample time to react.
