Controlled blasting is underway in the 8th Street construction area in Butner, NC, as part of SGWASA’s I-85 Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project (CP2) and will continue through the remainder of this week.

Door to door outreach for pre-blast survey participation will continue where applicable to support resident communication and document property conditions during blasting activity. Initial blasting for this segment was completed successfully, with the Fire Marshal on-site for this and all upcoming blasting sessions.

Updated dumping fees for 2026!

We accept clean waste concrete, asphalt, & brick. It’s alright if it has a little metal/rebar only!

We also accept waste quartz/granite!

We DON’T accept plastic/wood/trash or etc!

Dumping Fees:

Pickup & 1 ton trucks & small trailers- $45
Single axle trucks- $55
Tandem & Tri axle trucks- $65
Quad & Quints- $75
Tractor Trailers-$85 to $100 depends on the size trailer- this is for clean material!

*if you have excessive rebar- add $40 for quad & quints- add $50 on tractor trailers!

Extra fees will apply if the items above that we don’t accept are in any of the loads that are dumped!
