Happy Monday everyone! You may have seen us in the news this past week, where our own Mark Curtis spoke about the Maine International Cold Storage Facility project. Along with several other Maine contractors, we completed the work, but many of us are still waiting to be paid. Some companies have been waiting more than a year, while bills, payroll, and supplier costs have long been paid. As Mark said, “Pride in our work doesn’t pay the bills, doesn’t pay our people, and doesn’t pay our suppliers. Payment for that work is not optional - it’s a basic obligation.” This issue has now drawn the attention of lawmakers and industry leaders, and a petition is calling for action and accountability. Maine companies deserve to be paid for the work they’ve done. Please follow the link to learn more and sign the petition.

Spring has us hitting the ground running at GSG! 💪From brand new dump trailers rolling in to fresh house lots and subdivisions taking shape, our crews have been nonstop and getting it done every day. It’s a busy season, but this is what we love - playing in the dirt, growing, and keeping projects moving forward across the board.
