The pictures don’t do this one justice! ⚡️

125’ trench, wire ran and permanent power connected to a tiny home used for dog rescues. Mr. Hank and his wife help the Memphis Animal Shelter by fostering dogs and this tiny home gives them a place to house and care for them/ keep them cool.

First phase complete on a small electrical project at Kroger on Mendenhall! ⚡️

We’ve completed the electrical rough in and are now waiting for the new self contained refrigeration cases to arrive. Once they’re set in place, we’ll be back to install the SO cord drops from the ceiling, make the final connections and get everything powered up and ready for operation.

Evans Electrical got power where it needed to be and these gates are officially up and running.

On one gate, we installed the electrical needed to get reliable power out to the operator. On the other, we installed and wired a complete Ghost Controls gate opener system, getting everything connected, adjusted and operating like it should.

Gate systems can be a challenge, especially when you’re dealing with long distances, existing wiring and outdoor conditions but we make sure it’s wired right and built to last.

Gate Electrical for Mr. Steve Cooper ⚡️

This one has been a job but it’s rewarding to finally see these gates functioning the way they’re supposed to!

The existing underground wiring had been damaged somewhere along the line and with no way of knowing exactly where, we decided to do it the right way.

⚡ Trenched approximately 800 feet
⚡ Installed new underground wiring
⚡ Upsized the wire to account for voltage drop
⚡ Wired and connected the gate openers
⚡ Tested everything for proper operation

We ran into a few obstacles along the way but every one we faced, we overcame. Sometimes electrical work isn’t about finding the easiest fix, it’s about finding the right fix and seeing the job through.

A tree fell last night, taking down North Central’s pole and breaking this customer’s 150-amp electrical service.

From the time we got the call, assessed the damage, gathered materials, rebuilt the service, and got power restored, 7 hours total.

Emergencies don’t always happen at convenient times. When they happen, we’ll do our best to move things around and get you taken care of.

Another one wrapped up at WBLC! ⚡️

We installed 4 exhaust fans in the floor-truss area to help eliminate unwanted condensation and moisture building up between the floors.

Another contractor had previously looked at the issue, recommended what needed to be done, and quoted the work but the project never got completed. That’s where Evans Electrical came in!

This one took us a couple of days and definitely threw a few obstacles our way but we worked through them and the finished product turned out great.

Each fan is controlled by a humidistat controller, allowing the system to automatically help manage the humidity between floors. We also installed a switch so the fans can be completely shut off when needed.

The best part? It’s already doing its job and helping get rid of that unwanted condensation!

Sometimes electrical work is more than lights and receptacles it’s finding a solution to a problem and making it work.

The customer originally called us out to replace a few damaged receptacles. While we were there, they asked if we could remove their shop exhaust fan, take down the old shutters, replace the worn bearings in the fan assembly, reinstall the fan, and install brand new shutters.

Of course, we were happy to take care of it.

One of the younger employees told me he had never seen that exhaust fan run since he’d worked there. Well… we changed that today.
