Another 30-amp generator inlet installed! ⚡️

If this winter is anything like the last, plan ahead & get a generator inlet installed before you need it.

Whenever we install these, we also install a breaker interlock kit to keep the main breaker & generator breaker from being on at the same time. This helps prevent backfeeding power onto the grid, which can put power company crews in serious danger.

If you need a generator inlet or GenerLink installed, give Evans Electrical a call!

Super thankful for Jeremiah & Rachel Waldrop for trusting Evans Electrical with their game room!

We added several new receptacles, installed a deer antler chandelier, and installed a light/fan combo to help bring the room together.

Also moved the chandelier in the foyer to center it up with the opening & away from the walkway.

We appreciate every customer who trusts us with their home and their projects!

When we’re quiet, we’re usually the busiest. We’ve been working on a few bigger projects and this shop is one of them.

There’s still a lot to do, but the 200-amp underground feeder is in. It’s running to a 200-amp meter base, then to an outdoor disconnect, from the disconnect to the panel inside.

If you’re wondering what you’re looking at in the last picture, that’s part of the grounding system. Two 8 foot ground rods spaced 6 feet apart, which is the new standard.

More to come as this shop takes shape! ⚡

Got a call about a pool pump that needed power before the weekend for a birthday party, so we jumped on it!

We got the pump flexed in and powered up, then ran conduit with rain tight fittings for the switch and transformer feeding the pool lighting.

Another one knocked out and ready for the weekend! ⚡️🏊

Got the pleasure of doing some work for a longtime friend! Thank you JP Dewald

We installed a 50-amp generator inlet along with a breaker interlock kit, giving them a safe and convenient way to power their home during an outage.

We also did a little customization to the setup to prepare for a larger generator in the future.

Another one installed right and ready when the power goes out. ⚡️
