It was a privilege to have all three of our branches come together this week for a company-wide breakfast and 'One Team' meeting. Jeff took the opportunity to discuss a vital topic: creating sustainability for our full-time team members during the demanding winter months. "Thank You" to every member of our team for your amazing service to our community. The frequency of snow events has been one for the record books, and it continues. The Owners, Branch Managers, and Department Heads have been out here with you again yesterday and today... Plowing, Shoveling, Salting, Repeat.

Words can not express my feeling of gratitude to my team members for the amount of preparation that they put into getting ready for the first plow event… and then to be tested on the first plow of the season with heavy snow like this storm… I love being a part of this team!

Landscape Foreman Wanted. Guaranteed 40 hours minimum available each week in the winter for the right candidate with appropriate experience. Enjoy the security of sufficient hours in the winter, and the flexibility to take plenty of PTO in the summer. Summer is when the weather is ideal for outdoor family activities, camping trips, and recreation. We are a snow company, so we are busy in the winter, and we reward our people in the summer with plenty of flexibility and time off. We had our first frozen precipitation of the season today, just after noon... if hail counts. Temps were well above freezing... but we are looking forward to winter!

OSHA Inspection -We invited MIOSHA into our workplace to do a thorough audit of everything at our main location… to make sure we were compliant and doing what we should to provide a safe work environment for our people. They did find some things… like requiring this safety harness for anyone working in the mezanin when the doors are open, even when the safety chains are in place. Here Matt is doing a safety talk on this. We love being a part of a team that is committed to looking out for each other, and has the backing of upper management to spend the resources to do what is right.
