We had to utilize every inch of the bucket’s reach today in order to tackle this decrepit cherry tree. Glad we could remove this hazard before Mother Nature did.

We recently got the chance to provide some emergency assistance to a local couple in town that had a split and failing large white pine that was actively declining and creating imminent danger to their house and property.

We went out the night of the call and were able to install a chain and strap to provide some support and buy us time until we could manage it. From there it was pretty straightforward, work the tree to remove weight until there was no more tree left. We were able to dodge the repetitive snowfalls and cold weather and complete the project.

The clients were wonderful from beginning to end and we are on the hunt for our next amazing clients. If that’s you, reach out to us. We’d love to assist!

Is it unique or is it problematic?

It looks unique, but it is often the start of a future issue. It may not cause immediate failure, but over time it can create an issue that will show its weakness and fail during intense or inclement weather.

This is a common thing we look to mitigate when we are providing maintenance prunes; where we aim to prune any limbs that are dead, diseased, or rubbing.
