I’ve been quiet on social media lately, and there’s a reason for that.

I’m tired.

I’m tired of social media.

I’m tired of feeling like I have to be glued to my phone to “run my business.” I’m tired of so much of the communication and coordination that comes with being a vendor happening through social media, and feeling like I need to constantly check in, keep up, and stay connected online just to stay in the loop.

I’m tired of feeling like I need to like every post, reshare every post, stay active, stay visible, and constantly have a “presence.” Because somewhere along the way, I realized that trying to maintain an online presence was taking away from the place where I actually want to be present most: my family.

This little once-a-month MicroBakery was never meant to become a full-time, all-hands-on-deck, constantly-online business.

It was meant to be a little side endeavor. Something that kept my hands busy, my mind engaged, and allowed me to create something I love while still being a present wife and homeschool momma.

And that’s where it will stay.

So, I’m giving myself permission to step back.

There will not be a September pre-order. I’m taking all of September off and the first half of October. No baking schedule. No trying to keep up. No pressure to post just for the sake of being seen.

I want to slow down, be present, enjoy my family, homeschool my daughter, and remember why I started this in the first place. Plus, my baby sister’s wedding is right around the corner. It’s go time.

I’ll hope to be back at the Cabot Farmer’s Market in mid-October with limited items for their fall season.

Thank you to everyone who has supported By Grace Cultivations & Micro Bakery, whether you’ve bought a loaf, shared a post, stopped by my table, or simply encouraged me along the way.

This little bakery isn’t going anywhere.

I’m just choosing to keep it little.
And I’m okay with that.

I love seeing our breads being enjoyed by others, especially our market friends and beef dealer. 👏🏻👏🏻

When family comes over, they love to joke that we’re an “ingredient-only family.”

Well, this ingredient-only momma just whipped up some wholesome protein granola bars for the week.

Loaded with chia seeds, flax seeds, pumpkin seeds, walnuts, maple syrup, local honey, grass-fed protein powder, almond butter, HU dark chocolate, rolled oats, and Celtic sea salt.

All real, whole ingredients. Organic and locally sourced. No unnecessary fillers, dyes, or junk. Just simple ingredients I feel good about feeding my family.

And while these aren’t sugar-free, they’re sweetened with maple syrup and local honey—simple, God-given sources of sweetness—and enjoyed in moderation. Because wholesome doesn’t mean we can’t have a little sweet treat.

Honestly, you just can’t get this kind of quality and care in a box from the grocery store. And that’s exactly why I make it at home.

It was a slow start this morning, but little by little, you guys came out and made our hearts so full with your support. 🤎 We ended up nearly selling out!

This was our last time at the market for the summer season, and we’re so thankful for everyone who stopped by, chatted with us, and took a little something home.

We’re hoping to be back at the market this fall, if we can fit it into our very busy wedding-season schedule.

In the meantime, I want to know—would you be interested in porch pickup pre-orders here in Cabot?

The last two didn’t go quite as well, which is why I haven’t done another one. But I’d be willing to give it another try for September and throughout the fall if there’s enough interest.

So tell me honestly… would you actually pre-order? 👇🏼

What a perfect combo.

It’s been a little quiet around here lately.

Between celebrating birthdays, preparing for my little sister’s wedding, soaking up the last days of summer, and settling back into our homeschool routine, life has been beautifully full.

But don’t worry… our starter is being fed, the dough is bulking, and we’re getting ready for one last Cabot Farmer's Market for us for the summer!

This Saturday you’ll find all of our micro-bakery favorites:
✨ Traditional Sourdough Loaves
✨ Shokupan Milk Bread
✨ Shokupan Hamburger Buns
✨ Focaccia
✨ Pizza Crusts
✨ Bagels
✨ Sourdough Pancake Mix
✨ The last of Catie’s Bouquets

This will be your last chance to shop our Micro Bakery until late October, so be sure to stop by!

One thing to note—we’ll be baking on a much smaller scale this market, so inventory will be limited. Set your reminder, come early, and grab your favorites before they sell out!

We can’t wait to see you Saturday.

Where you shop matters.

My grocery haul for the week: local, fresh, and sourced from the amazing farmers, makers, and vendors at the Cabot Farmer's Market. Not to mention goodies for our pup and fishing gigs for a gift.

Now off to bake some delicious bread to complete our wholesome, nourishing food for the week.
