Behind the scenes at Envision Homes: a quality foundation starts before concrete ever gets poured.
Tomorrow morning, we’re meeting on site with the trades involved in building the foundation of this new custom home.
But the preparation starts here in the office.
We’re printing plan sets, reviewing notes, confirming specifications, and making sure each trade understands their scope of work before we get to the jobsite.
Why put this much effort into preparation?
Because when everyone is working from the same information, we reduce confusion, answer questions earlier, and give our trades what they need to do their work right.
We use JobTread, our construction management software, to help keep that information organized. Plans, specifications, scopes of work, job details, and other important information are kept together for our team and trades.
We can also place JobTread-generated QR codes on our jobsite information boards, giving the people working on the project quick access to current job information.
This is what being process-driven looks like.
It may not be the most exciting part of building a custom home, but this preparation matters. Clear expectations. Defined scopes. Good communication. A team working toward the same goal.
Because quality craftsmanship doesn’t start when construction begins.
It starts with planning.
If you’re thinking about building a custom home in Central Arkansas and want to learn more about how we manage the process, contact Envision Homes and schedule a consultation.
Your dream. Our expertise. Built together.
