🎈 YOU’LL FLOAT TOO… 🎈
When we originally had these shirts made for our Carolina Coast Landscapes crew, they were simply meant to be a fun Halloween tribute to one of the most unforgettable characters in horror history—Tim Curry’s Pennywise.
Sadly, Tim Curry passed away on August 25 at the age of 80—the same day the world lost the incomparable Dolly Parton. While Dolly’s passing understandably filled the news and social media with well-deserved love and remembrance, it felt as though the loss of Tim Curry quietly slipped beneath the surface.
For generations of fans, Tim Curry was so much more than Pennywise. He was Dr. Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Wadsworth in Clue, Rooster in Annie, the Lord of Darkness in Legend and the unmistakable voice behind countless animated characters. He had a rare gift for creating characters that were wonderfully strange, wildly entertaining and completely unforgettable.
So, in a small and slightly spooky way, we would like these shirts to serve as a tribute to the legendary Tim Curry and the incredible characters he gave us. ❤️🎈
