Today is a major milestone on this project. We are setting the precast concrete for the garage floor which will enable us to have open space below the garage. This application will allow us to add nearly 1200 sq feet of space to the home. When this home is all completed it will have nearly 7500 square feet including this garage space.

We finally got a clear day to pour this floor. Boys are gettin after it on a Monday morning.

The radiant tubes are installed and filled with glycol. If we could only get decent weather to pour the floor. Flexicore comes next week.

It took a while after the latest round of storms but we finally were able to get the basement insulation installed. This home features radiant heat in the basement concrete floor and insulation is used to push the heat up into the house rather than down into the ground.
Next up, tubing installation. Stay tuned.

Yesterday our community was hit by multiple tornadoes. This morning I received a call for help to rebuild the side of a house that took a direct hit from one of the tornadoes. The homeowners were despondent. My team and I dropped what we were doing and were there within the hour. We left the job before dark with the job completed. It felt good to help them and to be a part of the recovery process. I am most proud of the loyalty and commitment of my team to clear their Saturday to work for me.
Those kinds of people are very hard to find.
