Many people have noticed issues brought on by this recent snow. Just a reminder to watch things carefully as the thaw comes next week. Watch for signs of lines that may have burst. Give us a call if you have something your worried about.

Water heater pilot light issues? I have had multiple calls today from homeowner's not being able to keep their pilot lights lit. This is most likely due to the high winds we've been experiencing. 1)Check to make sure the flue cap didn't blow off. 2)Try to relight your water heater. 3) If it becomes an ongoing problem there are flue caps made for high winds.

Friendly reminder for those of us in the Portland/Vancouver area, don't forget to turn off hose bibs, outside faucets that run through the garage with this storm coming tonight. Shut offs are often above water heater or in the back of the garage.
