This is what we mean by restoration—not just painting.

Years of weathering, failing coatings, and compromised siding brought back through extensive preparation, targeted repairs, wood filling, caulking, an oil-based tinted primer, and a complete finish with Sherwin-Williams A-100 Exterior Latex.

The finish is only as good as the work underneath it.

While the front door is being refinished off-site in a controlled environment, the entryway is boarded and protected — giving us the perfect opportunity to address some needed masonry work at the same time.

The granite step was removed, the old mortar and debris cleaned away, and the stone reset on a fresh Type S mortar bed with bonding adhesive. Set level from left to right with a slight outward pitch to properly shed water.

Door refinishing, masonry, restoration — taking care of the entire entryway, not just the paint.

The details make the difference. This one is going to be a serious transformation.
