Photo dump of a bathroom remodel at the Lake of the Ozarks! Customer wanted old fixtures gone and a different bathroom layout. This meant busting up some concrete, re-routing drain and water lines. New Onyx shower base, & lavatory wall faucet.
Received the help from Noah K as well to assist me with project.

It was a late one today! Answered a late call to unclog a sewer for a good customer that has a
Rental unit.
It did not go well. 😞
Line was excavated to cut in a cleanout and it went downhill from there.
Pic 1 shows a past repair and the two pieces of pipe are now separated!
Pic 2 shows that part of the current sewer line is "egged shaped" due to the fact that whenever they installed it, they used beloved "crush" pipe . Very thin walled pipe. Don't use this pipe people, it's crap pipe... No pun intended.
Pick 3 is after I installed a new double clean out using SDR35 . Customer had this on hand and the fittings so that was nice.
Pick 4 is my spear head tip of my sewer machine cable coming up out of the ground from about 75' away..... Not good.
Ended the call about 930 this evening. Probably will need to dig up rest of sewer line and replace due to the fact that the thin walled pipe is deformed and causing the blockage. The pipe past the clean out is SCH 40 4" So that part of sewer line is in good shape. Will probably update this post when final repair is made.

It's been a busy summer. Lost track of time and haven't posted in a while...sorry folks.
Here's a walk-out basement slab my son and I roughed in on a Saturday for a contractor on short notice. We were able to get plumbing in before concrete coming just a couple days after these pix were taken so the job wasn't held up . I plan on posting the after framing rough-in plumbing here very soon.

I've been holding back for sometime now but I thought I would post a little update. Lebanon will soon be enjoying their sweet treats at Dairy Queen once again. Before you ask, I don't know the opening day, but most if not all trades are there now for the final push. I'll post more pix as I get more done but for now I'm just posting pix of the remodeled bathroom.

Sorry if you were at Sonic this late afternoon/early evening and were denied a beverage. They had a major water leak due to the cold temps the other day. Water lines froze up because they were in a outside wall and today they thawed out! Both hot and cold lines split open . Some may have noticed a river of water coming from the front of the restaurant and running down to Jefferson Street. I meant to make a video but because of time I needed to get water back on ASAP. I took pix of the two splits and the repair in the wall, which features Propress copper fittings.
Thank you to all the Sonic staff and management for their patience and working around me!

Pix from a couple different service calls from last week using Propress copper fittings. One job involved switching out a faulty ¾" ball valve in a multi-story condo building and the other job was switching out a whole house filter.

Did you know that Jesse Hopson Plumbing now offers pipe camera services?! Along with drain clearing services we can now inspect drain pipes by taking photos/ videos and locating any possible trouble spots in your drain system. Here are some photos and a video from this past week . Have you ever wondered what it might look like if you have compromised sewer lines with roots? Here's a good example. After unstopping the drain line so we could run the camera this is what we found! The video is me pulling back the camera after coming in from outside and locating where the camera was underground.....very close to a very large tree.

Great repeat customer called complaining about not having enough hot water in their "newish" water heater, and the breaker keeps tripping at electrical panel.
Please don't ever believe when someone says theres no way to tell if you have a bad thermostat or element. Took me two minutes to find the problem with a standard electrical tester, then a quick element swap out and water heater was working like new. Water heaters age is just passed warranty... go figure. I think the lower element was toast!

Customer wanted a kitchen refresh. Something that would look good now and maybe later if they chose to redo counter tops. I think it turned out great.

"Jesse the plumber, can u please take a look at my kitchen sink , it doesn't drain very well. " This customer informed me that they had trouble for a long time with their kitchen sink draining, even having multiple plumbers looking at it and giving them recommendations on what to do. One even stating that their garage disposal was the culprit. And stating if they removed the disposal it would take care of their problem which it didn't. Not trying to call anyone out but none of them checked the kitchen drain line that was exposed in the unfinished basement . In just a few minutes I was able to show the customer that the 2" drain line had negative fall and was probably full of debris. I recommended replacing about 20' of 2" PVC drain. You can see what happens when you don't probably support and hang a drain line with proper fall/pitch. I could of augered all day and got nowhere trying to treat the symptoms and not fix the actual problem.
After I was done replacing the drain line the customer was so thrilled with how the sink drained she filled it up again just so she could watch it go down again.

Augering and unclogging a kitchen sink drain with a new toy of mine! Thank you to my boy Hayden for taking a quick video. We ran the cable for a while before it broke thru the clog so video is only the last few moments.
