"Jesse the plumber, can u please take a look at my kitchen sink , it doesn't drain very well. " This customer informed me that they had trouble for a long time with their kitchen sink draining, even having multiple plumbers looking at it and giving them recommendations on what to do. One even stating that their garage disposal was the culprit. And stating if they removed the disposal it would take care of their problem which it didn't. Not trying to call anyone out but none of them checked the kitchen drain line that was exposed in the unfinished basement . In just a few minutes I was able to show the customer that the 2" drain line had negative fall and was probably full of debris. I recommended replacing about 20' of 2" PVC drain. You can see what happens when you don't probably support and hang a drain line with proper fall/pitch. I could of augered all day and got nowhere trying to treat the symptoms and not fix the actual problem.
After I was done replacing the drain line the customer was so thrilled with how the sink drained she filled it up again just so she could watch it go down again.
