D-Best Plumbing is seeking a highly motivated, skilled, and professional Service Plumber to perform installations, maintenance, and repairs of residential and light commercial plumbing systems. The ideal candidate must be punctual, have their own comprehensive set of tools, and be committed to delivering the high-quality, precise customer service that defines D-Best Plumbing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Service & Repair: Diagnose and troubleshoot a wide variety of plumbing issues (e.g., leaks, clogs, pipe breaks, fixture malfunctions). Perform necessary repairs efficiently and accurately, adhering to D-Best Plumbing's commitment to lasting solutions.
Installation: Install, repair, and replace plumbing fixtures, pipes, water heaters, and drainage systems (e.g., sinks, toilets, tubs, water lines).
Diagnostics: Utilize appropriate tools and techniques to locate and clear drain stoppages and evaluate system performance.
Customer Service: Communicate effectively and courteously with customers, clearly explaining the scope of work, repair options, and providing accurate time and cost estimates. Our D-Best Plumbing pros assess needs, explain the plan, and complete repairs with precision
Compliance: Ensure all work is performed in compliance with relevant local and state plumbing codes and safety regulations.
Documentation: Complete all job-related paperwork, including work orders, invoices, and time tracking, accurately and in a timely manner.
On-Call: Be available for emergency and after-hours service calls on a rotating basis.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 4 years of verified, hands-on experience in service and repair plumbing.
Punctuality: Demonstrated history of reliability and strong organizational skills, with a commitment to arriving on time for all appointments and shifts, as expected by D-Best Plumbing's customer process (Source: D-Best Plumbing website).
Tools: Must possess and maintain a comprehensive personal set of service plumbing tools, including specialized equipment for diagnosis and repair.
Technical Skills: Proficient working knowledge of various piping materials (e.g., Copper, PVC, PEX) and an ability to read and interpret basic plumbing diagrams or schematics.
Driving: Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and critical-thinking skills to efficiently diagnose complex system issues.
Communication: Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills for clear communication with customers, dispatch, and team members.

Safety Conscious: Commitment to adhering to all job site safety rules and procedures.
Physical Demands
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crawl, and climb ladders for extended periods.
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50-75 pounds on a regular basis.
Capability to work in various environmental conditions, including tight spaces (crawl spaces, attics) and varying temperatures.
