🐝 Organic vs. Natural Honey — What’s the Difference? 🍯

We often get asked if our honey is organic. The truth is, “organic honey” is very difficult to guarantee.

Honeybees can forage 2–5 miles from their hive, and there’s no way to control every flower they visit. That means bees may gather nectar from areas that aren’t certified organic. Because of this, truly certified organic honey is rare in the United States.

So what about natural honey?

Natural honey simply means the honey is produced the way bees make it — without artificial ingredients or additives. At The Honey Ladies, our honey is:

✔️ Made by healthy local bees
✔️ Never mixed with syrups or additives

Our focus is keeping strong, healthy colonies and producing pure, local honey straight from the hive.
