So.
When someone in the water treatment world tries to scare you with the “potential health risks” of your water, please remember, it is against Maine law to sell a product on fear.

Also remember, no water treatment company in the state of Maine can do onsite testing for health contaminates in your water. All testing for health concerns and risks MUST be done at a State approved laboratory.

Also, make sure your water treatment professional comes from a background with water as a baseline in their work history.

Well drillers and plumbers have been protecting the health of our nation for a very long time.

Long time no post.
For the three people who actually follow this page...

We will be transitioning from J.P. Clarke Plumbing to Clarke Water.

This further positions us into our mission moving forward.

Our focus is on the safety and quality of domestic water. City water or private well water.

General plumbing will be taking a back seat in our day to day work load.
Don't panic. We will still take on some small repair jobs, some small 9pipe size) drain cleaning.
Stay calm, find your main water valve and carry on.

The time for us to disappear has come.
If you have been patiently waiting for me to take care of your “leak, installation or sudden” plumbing emergency, guess what.
You’re gonna have to wait a bit more.
Go find your main water valve ( you have done that, right?) and turn it off.

It’s going to be sooooo much fun to live like a pilgrim.

Some of you are wondering what is new at the plumbing shop.
Here goes- I am no longer taking any new house plumbing jobs.
I am no longer taking any remodeling jobs.
I am concentrating on the water filtration portion of my business. Today’s water is a greater concern than your pedestal sink. Sorry for the inconvenience. If you want a referral, message me. There are some really good young plumbers out there.

Once again we are traveling beyond our service area. Fall is our favorite season to disappear. We won't be far, but we will be too far to help you with your plumbing problems.
Please find the main shutoff for your house. Please add a tip to any plumber, septic guy or heat tech that comes to your rescue.
There are really good contractors out there. Don't p**s them off. Don't demand that they come out and fix your emergency.
Offer them blueberry muffins or chocolate cookies.
You never know what bribe will work.
