Wilson Construction Company’s 2025 Employee of the Year is Jay Clark, T&D Operations Manager, Southwest Region. Jay's impact extends far beyond the projects he manages or the goals he achieves. He genuinely cares about people. Whether it's helping a coworker through a challenge, mentoring the next generation of leaders, or simply taking the time to check in on someone, Jay consistently puts others before himself. His selflessness is not something he turns on when it's convenient—it's simply who he is. With more than three decades of experience in our industry, Jay has accomplished more than most could imagine. Yet what makes him truly special is that he never stops learning, teaching, and investing in the future. He understands that our success is not just about what we build today, but about who we develop for tomorrow. Through his mentorship, guidance, and commitment to excellence, he is helping create a future where our industry becomes safer, stronger, and better every day.
When asked about the award, Jay said, “Very humbling. I appreciate the opportunity to work here and try and make a difference and set standards in this industry that are being lost every year. We can always do better!”.
