Folks, don't forget- if you have power but no running water, remember to turn off the circuit breaker to your water heater. Best case scenario, you are heating the water in the tank for no reason. Worst case scenario, if it becomes empty, the heating elements will burn up and damage the water heater and/or become a fire hazard.
