This is a bed frame made out of black finished 1x1 square metal tubing
and 3/4” pine plywood.
The plywood for the head board was cut out of one sheet and installed
in a way that the grain flow of the wood was preserved.
The 1” metal grid for the head board was also cut out of the plywood
to further preserve the flow of the grain.
The four piece are hold together by just 8 screws and it sits on height adjustable
felt pads.

I have not done metal fabricating in awhile but let the cutting begin.

Opened up a wall only to find a 🐝 or wasp nest.
Ran out of wasp spray so building foam came the rescue.
Interesting detail is that the original bead board covered who knows how many decades ago has almost the exact same color as the drywall now.

So many layers.
