If this is #1 wood, I would hate to see #2! Just because it says #1 doesn't mean anything, each mill is different. #1 in our eyes means no bark, no broken knots, no big splits. We will cull through your entire pile so our customers gets the best bang for the #1 price. We have seen #2 better than the #1 we have seen lately.

Finished up this deck today! We replaced all the joist and one band board, added two more stringers to the long section of steps. Added composite and new railing. Customer is planning on putting the decking on the steps once he replaces the lower section. This customer is a retired general Contractor and decided he need help with the high stuff. Another satisfied customer and on to the next one very similar but bigger with no steps.
