We all see tankers driving down the highway every day, but did you ever wonder what’s inside? It’s actually nothing special, just a bunch of rusty steel. That’s where we come in!

Blasting off the rust and the old deteriorated coating inside, to be followed up with a specialized paint to be able to hold up to the brine that it’s hauling. Using 2 large air pumps creating 3,000 cfm of air flow inside and a pressurized fresh-air blast hood so that we can work inside efficently and safely.

For those who ask what “media” blasting is, media is a general term for an abrasive material used to remove contaminants, coatings, or prepare surfaces for further treatments. We use equipment capable of blasting with all types of media in order to achieve the required surface prep. In this case, it was using soda to remove the paint from an aluminum tank so that it can be followed up with a polish that made this customers new truck a show piece. Just look at that aluminum shine!
