While the van’s caretakers are inside tending to the electrical needs of Take 5, a mutually beneficial relationship is taking place. The electricians get the job done, and in return, Take 5 can service the Lara Electric van flock and other members of the vehicle species to keep them all running smoothly with their oil changes.

It’s a perfect example of different species working together for the benefit of all.

Meet Timothy, one of our Electricians!

For the past two years, Timothy has been a valued part of the Lara Electric team. He is consistent, reliable, and always willing to learn. He approaches each job with a steady attitude and a commitment to doing things right. He takes safety seriously and is always looking for opportunities to learn and grow in the electrical field.

Outside of work, Timothy enjoys spending time with his dogs, working on cars, and following Jesus—not necessarily in that order! Whether he’s working with his hands, learning something new, or enjoying time away from work, Timothy stays busy doing the things he enjoys.

Meet David, our Journeyman Electrician!

With 8 years of experience in the electrical field, David brings knowledge, hard work, and a positive attitude to every job. He called us out of the blue looking for a job, and we’re so thankful he did!

One of the things we appreciate about David is the way he connects with our customers. It seems like David knows everyone—and everyone knows David! And whether he’s working in the Texas heat or bundling up against the cold, you’re unlikely to hear him complain. He simply shows up, works hard, and focuses on getting the job done.

In his down time, David enjoys spending time with his lovely wife and being involved in his kids’ activities. And when he gets a little free time, you can often find him upgrading something in his home.

On this week’s episode of Lara Electric in the Wild, we have a rare and unusually clear view of a Lara Electric van from the front. It appears this specimen was attempting to conceal itself behind a fence. Unfortunately, much like a human toddler playing hide-and-seek, it seems to have forgotten that its body was in plain sight.

Hiding may not be our vans’ greatest survival skill, but transporting caretakers to electrical jobs is. When you call Lara Electric, our vans will gladly come out of hiding. They’ll make their way to your home, where their caretakers will get to work on whatever electrical needs you may have.

And once the job is complete, our caretakers will clean up after themselves, leaving the area so tidy you may wonder if the van was ever there at all.

With more than 4 years of experience in the electrical industry, Elijah brings a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality to every job. He has had the unique opportunity to learn the trade from the very beginning under the guidance of Jim, his dad and our Master Electrician. That hands-on training has given Elijah a strong foundation and a wealth of knowledge to build on as he continues to grow in the electrical field.

Elijah is a hard worker who is always up for a challenge. He takes pride in doing quality work and pays close attention to the details that can make all the difference in a job well done. Beyond his technical skills, Elijah has a natural ability to connect with customers. His friendly attitude, respect, and willingness to take the time to listen help make every interaction a positive experience.
