For the third year in a row, FM Generator sponsored the Foreigner concert promotion on Easy 99.1 and this year was extra special.

Each year, Foreigner invites a local school choir to join them on stage to sing I Want to Know What Love Is and awards the choir a $500 scholarship. We’re proud to match that scholarship, giving the winning choir $1,000 for their music program. 🎶

This year, the winning choir happened to be our hometown Canton High School choir! So we had to go all out. From designing their T-shirts and visiting them at practice, to donating tickets to parents and bringing 32 FM employees, friends and family to the Xfinity Center to cheer them on.

Seeing the kids light up after performing on that stage made the whole night worth it.

We’re proud to support music programs, our community, and most importantly, the people who make FM what it is.

⛳ On Tuesday, our team had a great time at Easy 99.1 FM's 4th Annual Summer Golf Classic, supporting The Arc of the South Shore.

A leaking engine puts backup power at risk, which wasn’t an option for our Cape Cod customer during busy season. Our team jumped right in to get the unit back up and running. The challenge was that the generator was installed in a tight alley between two buildings with very limited access.

• Carefully took apart the enclosure and unit so we could safely get to the equipment in a tight space without causing any damage
• Used a lull to safely pull the old engine out since access was extremely limited between the buildings
• Installed a brand new engine to get their backup power back up and reliable during peak demand
• Reconnected, tested, and verified everything was running properly so the customer can feel confident it’ll perform reliably

Every project is different, but we do whatever it takes to get the job done for our customers!

Last week our team was in Rhode Island replacing a deteriorated generator enclosure that had seen better days. We disconnected the exhaust system, removed the old enclosure, carefully positioned and secured the new one, reconnecting the exhaust, and completed a load bank test to verify everything was operating properly.

Now the generator is better protected from the elements, operating as intended, and looking better than ever. 👏
