🚧 Another Driveway Brought Back to Life! 🚧

Today, we were out in the Eagle Lake community in Brevard, NC, repairing a driveway that had been washed out by erosion.

Water was escaping the existing ditch and cutting a trench right across the driveway. We got everything flowing in the right direction again by:

✅ Reworking the ditch to improve water flow
✅ Installing riprap to help control erosion
✅ Regrading the driveway
✅ Adding a fresh layer of crusher run to finish it off! 💪

Proper drainage is key to protecting your driveway and preventing future damage! 🌧️

🚧 Etowah, NC Drainage Project Update! 🚧

WELL… WE GOT IT DONE TODAY!! 💪🔥

We got the last 100 feet of culvert in the ground, installed the gravel, backfilled, graded, seeded, installed matting, and finished up with straw, ALL IN ONE DAY! 💥

We pushed hard to get this project completed before all the rain coming this weekend, and we achieved our goal! 🌧️💪

We still have a little cleanup to take care of on Monday, along with filling in the two sinkholes, and then we’ll have this project officially wrapped up!

This one definitely kept us busy, but we’re proud of the progress we’ve made and can’t wait to show you the finished product! 👀

Shoutout to ARK Equipment Rentals for providing the skid steer and Brevard Crane for delivering all the gravel! We appreciate the support and helping us keep this project moving! 🙌

🚧 Etowah, NC Drainage Project Update! 🚧

It’s been a busy couple of days out here! 💪🚜

Yesterday was spent finishing up locating and identifying water lines and sorting through a mess of abandoned lines. With several different types of pipe materials in use, we had to carefully hand-dig the lines, identify each material, and track down the correct fittings and supplies.

Once we had identified all 7 water lines and gathered the necessary materials, we cut the lines to install the first two culverts. Before calling it a night, we made sure all the homeowners had their water back on! Needless to say, it was a late one! 💧🔧

Today, we finished installing the first 100 feet of culvert, installed gravel, and got everything mostly backfilled before moving on to the next section. We had several obstacles to carefully work around, but we got it done!

Tomorrow, we’re planning to finish installing the remaining culvert, install the gravel, and get everything backfilled just in time for the rain coming this weekend! 🌧️

Every project comes with its own challenges, but that’s part of the job! We’re working hard to get this drainage issue taken care of and get this community back in good shape.

🚧 Drainage Project Underway in Etowah, NC! 🚧

Today we got started on a drainage project for a condo association in Etowah, NC!

This community has two large sinkholes in the parking lot, and both sinkholes are located directly in line with where the existing culvert runs. We’re assuming the existing culvert had become severely corroded, allowing the soil underneath and around sections of the pipe to erode and eventually create the sinkholes.

We started by abandoning the entrance of the old culvert and digging a new ditch for the entrance of the new culvert system we’ll be installing.

The project will include approximately 200 feet of new culvert, along with plenty of digging and preparation to properly address the drainage issues. We also spent quite a bit of time hand-digging to locate existing water lines before continuing with the excavation.

There’s still plenty of work ahead, but we’re excited to get this project moving in the right direction!

🚧 Another job in the books! 🚧

Today we were in Pisgah Forest, NC trenching for a gas line for one of our customers. We ran into plenty of roots and rocks along the way, but we got it done! 💪🏼
