A clean trim can make a huge difference. We trimmed up these two trees to improve their shape, clean up the overgrowth, and give them a much neater look.

Please—don’t do this to your tree.

Years ago, someone cut one of this tree’s major supporting roots. The tree continued growing and looked healthy, but underneath the ground, it was dangerously unbalanced.

Then the strong El Paso winds hit.

The weakened side lost its grip, the tree folded over, and it landed directly on the house. Thankfully, it wasn’t large enough to cause serious damage—but a bigger tree could have caused thousands of dollars in damage or seriously hurt someone.

The scary part is that one bad cut can weaken a tree for years before it finally falls.

Before cutting major roots near your driveway, sidewalk, or home, call someone who understands how that cut could affect the entire tree.

Before the first cut is made, Joe is already thinking about how the job gets done. 🪚🌳

Joe is the man in charge at Lumberjack Joe’s Tree Service. He doesn’t just show up, give instructions, and leave — he stays on the job, watches every step of the process, and makes sure the work is done safely and the right way.

With decades of hands-on experience working around trees, Joe knows that a successful job isn’t just about getting a tree on the ground. It’s about planning the cuts, protecting the property, keeping the crew safe, and leaving the customer with a job they’re happy with.

Around here, when you hear that chainsaw start, you know Joe’s getting to work. 💪🌲

🌳 Big trees don’t leave much room for mistakes.

This was one of the larger trees you’ll see around El Paso — sitting right next to a house, with a pool below and very little room to work.

But this is where experience shows.

Joe spent 15 years working as a logger in California, learning how to read trees, control their direction, and make difficult cuts with confidence.

One cut. One controlled drop. 🎯

The tree came down exactly where he wanted it, over the pool and away from the house — with zero damage.

That’s the difference experience makes.

If you have a large, dangerous, or difficult tree on your property, Lumberjack Joe’s is here to help.
