Not every sewer line needs hydro jetting — but this one definitely did.

Due to limited access at the time, we were only able to snake the line using a small cutter head to provide the customer temporary relief from the blockage. As you can see in the camera inspection, the line is heavily impacted with root intrusion and buildup.

This is a perfect example of the difference between simply snaking a drain and properly hydro jetting a sewer line. Snaking may poke a hole through the blockage and restore temporary flow, but hydro jetting thoroughly cleans the pipe walls and removes roots, sludge, grease, and debris far more effectively.

If your drains keep backing up, there’s usually an underlying issue — not just a simple clog.
