Pontoon Repairs Done Right 🔧⚓

Just wrapped up another pontoon repair here at Tip Top Welding LLC on a Viaggio Diamante 26UW.

This one came in taking on water from a cracked front pontoon cone underneath the fin. We removed the damaged fin, repaired the leak, pressure-tested the pontoon, welded the fin back in place, installed manufacturer-supplied reinforcement gussets, replaced warped sheet metal, and added additional aluminum channel reinforcement underneath.

If your pontoon has a leak, cracked weld, damaged nose cone, fin damage, skeg damage, or other aluminum repair, bring it to us before a small problem becomes a much bigger one.

This hand-fabricated aluminum Great Horned Owl is part of a custom mailbox stand design I’ve been working on — built one bend, one weld, and one detail at a time.
Still a little more to go before the final reveal, but this one is already turning into a badass piece.

Custom Contender 30ST Trailer Boarding Ladder
Another custom aluminum fabrication project coming together at Tip Top Welding. We designed and built this trailer-mounted boarding ladder specifically for a Contender 30ST, giving the owner a safer and easier way to access the bow while the boat is on the trailer.
Built with a heavy-duty aluminum frame, anodized non-slip treads, a wide lower landing, added reinforcement gussets, and a full-height handrail for secure boarding. Everything was custom-fit and fabricated to bolt directly to the trailer.
From the initial idea to the finished product, we build marine solutions that fit the boat, trailer, and customer’s needs.
