Unpopular opinion: **matte cabinets do NOT automatically mean “more modern.”** 👀

This kitchen is a pretty good argument for the other side.

The warm high-gloss cabinetry reflects the lighting, the full-height storage wall keeps a ton of everyday clutter out of sight, and the long brushed-metal pulls keep everything clean and contemporary without making the room feel sterile.

And here’s where it gets interesting: high-gloss finishes are starting to pop back up in 2026 design trends—even though matte is still the practical favorite in a lot of kitchens.

Bathroom debate for the weekend: if you have room for both, is the tub still worth keeping? 👀

This design inspiration puts the whole conversation in one frame: a large glass shower, built-in soaking tub, stone surfaces, warm metal fixtures and layered lighting.

One of the bathroom trends getting a lot of attention right now is the idea of turning the shower into more of a daily spa experience — more space, better lighting, seating, storage and a layout that actually feels relaxing.

So Cape Coral & Lee County homeowners, if this were YOUR remodel and you could reclaim the tub space, what would you do?

🚿 BIGGER SHOWER — give me the bench, niches and extra room
🛁 KEEP BOTH — don’t touch my tub

We just haven’t been nearly as busy showing you what we’re doing. 😅

That changes now.

Unpopular opinion: a beautiful kitchen should work hard before it works the camera. 👀

The countertops and cabinets get the attention, but good layout, storage, prep space, lighting, and flow are what make you love the kitchen years after the pictures are taken.
