Sometimes the hardest part of pumping a septic tank is finding it! 😳

Today we found this septic tank hiding underneath a patio. It’s a good reminder that before you install a patio, build a deck, pour concrete, or start a major outdoor project, make sure you know exactly where your septic tank and access lids are located.

We are proud to support 4H and the hardworking kids behind it! 🍀❤️🤍💙

Anyone who has been around 4H knows how much work goes into getting to auction day. These kids spend months feeding, cleaning, caring for their animals, keeping records, and learning the responsibility that comes with seeing a project through from beginning to end.

Before the auction even begins, we have to recognize the Top 20 Buyers whose seats are waiting for them. The generosity of these businesses, organizations, and families is incredible. Year after year, they invest thousands of dollars into our local 4H youth, rewarding their hard work and helping make opportunities like this possible. Our community is blessed to have people who give so generously to its kids. 🍀

At Serv-All Septic Tank Cleaners, supporting 4H is important to us because we believe in what this program is teaching the next generation—hard work, responsibility, commitment, and the value of a job well done. These are lessons that will last far beyond their years at the fair, and we’re proud to support a program that is building those values in our local kids.

Today we will pay our respects to Ray Noble, a hardworking man who built a business that earned the respect of so many.

For many years, our families worked in the same industry. While our businesses competed, there was always something more important than that—a friendship built on mutual respect.

My dad, Terry Sr., and I were grateful to call both Ray and his son Gerry our friends. Through the years, we shared conversations, laughter, and a respect for one another that made this industry a little more special.

Ray built a business through years of hard work, and when he retired, Gerry proudly carried on his father’s legacy until his own retirement. We always admired the dedication they had to their customers, their business, and the legacy they built together.

Today, as we pay our respects, and tomorrow as Ray is laid to rest, our thoughts and prayers are with Gerry, the Noble family, and everyone who loved Ray.

Thank you, Ray, for your friendship and the many years of mutual respect. You will be remembered, and you will be missed.

Grandpa Built It. We’re Still Pumping It.

We are grateful for every septic tank we are called to pump, but our hearts get a little extra excited when we uncover one of the original tanks built by my grandfather, Harold Wickenheiser…

Grandpa started Serv-All in 1940 he was building septic tanks throughout the Carleton area. This tank was built sometime before 1969.

I still find those tanks all over the area today! Every time we uncover one, I am filled with pride. Decades later, they are still doing exactly what they were designed to do.

My grandfather’s craftsmanship was the best of the best. His work was precise, built to last, and done with pride. He didn’t have modern technology. He didn’t have a college engineering degree. But he had knowledge, determination, vision, and an incredible work ethic. The quality of his tanks speaks for itself all these years later.

Today, we had the privilege of pumping another one of Grandpa Harold’s original tanks. Seeing his work still serving families after all these years makes me incredibly proud.

I never had the privilege of meeting my grandfather, Harold, but I feel a deep connection to him. The values he passed down to my dad—hard work, integrity, craftsmanship, and taking pride in a job well done—are the same values my dad taught me. Through the lessons he taught my father and the legacy he left behind, I feel like a part of him is still with us every day. Seeing his work still serving families all these years later makes me incredibly proud to carry on what he started.

That’s the Wickenheiser’s Serv-All legacy. That’s who we learned from, and we’re proud to carry on what he started.
