As we woke up this morning to sunshine and birds chirping, our hearts are full. Easter Sunday did not start as we planned, but at the end of the day, we laid our heads to rest feeling thankful. As we pulled into the shop drive at 4:30AM, our portion of the shop was already gone and completely engulfed. Immediate grief overcame our family. Most telling were the tears that filled our young boys’ eyes as they watched all we have built thus far up in flames.
Our business home and sacred space was plagued by an unimaginable fire. Despite our loss of vehicles, some equipment, and belongings, we are well and operable (with some hiccups) today.
Most of all we are thankful for the men and women spending their Easter fighting the flames, directing traffic, and managing the scene. Thank you does not even touch the gratitude felt by their hard work and persistency throughout the sacred holiday.
As we build forward, we are also thankful for the property owner and neighbor business owners. We could not have operated and continued to move forward without their love, support, and encouragement.
Thank you to everyone who has reached out to our business family during this difficult time. Your support has not gone unnoticed.
