I'm hangin' up my hat because this geometric accent wall is complete. This is a 10' x 14' interior wall in a home gym. The first thing I did was frame out the wall and add frames to the windows. The frames allow for the geometric pieces to have something to connect to for a more finished look. I used painters tape to tape out the design, then my client and I talked about it and made some adjustments...a lot easier than making adjustments with the actual wood pieces! The wall was painted with two coats of Sherwin Williams Tricorn Black in an eggshell sheen, and the accent pieces I painted in the same color but up two sheen levels to a semi-gloss, to allow for a little extra pop 💫 ................

Interior window trim works to cover imperfections surrounding the window drywall, helps with insulation, and adds style. But for some reason all the builders in California got together and decided it wasn’t necessary in the houses here 🤨 which is just crazy for this Boston girl. My current project is adding custom trim to these three large windows (swipe ⬅️). The trim adds so much character to otherwise bare windows. I’ll be done today so stay tuned to see how they turn out 💫

Half bath reno reveal 🤩 we replaced everything in this bathroom from electrical to plumbing fixtures to flooring which makes this transformation especially a wow 🙌🏼. I wanted to keep the bathroom clean and bright but it needed a little architectural interest pop so I added the wooden board and batten detail around the room all with 1x4 boards (wood, not mdf!) Ok so it’s a messy job and I’ll forever be grateful for knee pads 🤣 But…these tiles are just sooooo pretty 😍Yesterday these tiles arrived for my client’s half bath. With Rudy on the wet-saw and me installing in the bathroom the floor is in 🙌🏼 Now the rest of the bathroom will come together quickly. Stay tuned!

I’m excited to share my latest master bathroom renovation reveal with you 💫 swipe ⬅️ to see the before and my vision for the space.

Here’s what was done:
✔️ All new plumbing including new toilet and faucets
✔️ Rewired the single electrical vanity light fixture so that we could add double vanity lights over the double sinks. This required drywall repair but it’s well worth it. Also added a dimmer to the new light fixtures.
✔️ All new baseboards, trim, and window trim.
✔️ Demo’d the glued on full wall mirror, and replaced with two wooden framed arched mirrors.
✔️Cleaned and repainted the grout on the entire tile floor (yes! You can paint grout!)
✔️Painted the walls in Sherwin Williams Agreeable Gray.
✔️ Would you believe that this is the original vanity and cabinets?? Yup 🙌🏼 I throughly cleaned them with a good degreaser, primed them, and painted two coats of Sherwin Williams Peppercorn. Paired with the white counters, black faucets and gold hardware it completely updates the vanity without having to replace it in it’s entirety.

This was my vision for the master bath renovation that Rudy and I just completed yesterday. The house has traditional elements and style so the master bathroom, which is on the main floor, had to be updated but still flow seamlessly. In May I created this moody accent wall for a client’s bar room. I love getting updated pictures from clients showing how a space has come together since I was there. Dark accent walls like this Behr Forest Ridge green are actually a bright idea. As long as there is plenty of natural light you can’t go wrong. Paired with natural wood tones, leather accents and black and white photography this lounge is truly calling for a glass of whiskey 🥃 after a long day.
