Charles “Chuck” Heincy is Director of Building Design and a Senior Consultant at Oris Group. His expertise is utilized in project matters that relate to the planning and design of large-scale custom residential estates, multi-family homes and light commercial buildings. With over 30 years of experience in the building and design industries, Chuck has designed homes throughout Southern California in various upscale neighborhoods including La Jolla, Rancho Santa Fe, Fairbanks Ranch and more. As previous owner of his own architectural and development firm, Heincy Designer, Chuck specialized in site location searches, feasibility studies, project design including land planning, as well as building and structural design for custom residential estates. The cost per foot of his construction projects ranged from $250 - $350 with areas ranging between 7000 – 12,000 square feet. Chuck has also completed home inspections and owner interviews for various lending institutions where complete property inspections were performed prior to the start and funding of construction projects. He has personally acted as a Project Team Leader and as a liaison for owners, architects, developers and building departments. Chuck has also been responsible for creating time budgets to ensure successful project completion. Mr. Heincy’s professional memberships and affiliations include the American Institute of Building Designers (AIBD), American Architectural Manufacturers Association (AAMA), American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) and the American Society of Professional Estimators (ASPE). As a Senior Consultant, Chuck has also been involved with numerous continuing education seminars where he has both presented and attended various classes of technical discussion.
