Another landscape transformation wrapped up! 🌿🏡

The goal with this project was to improve the curb appeal while complementing and highlighting the architecture of this beautiful modern home.

Rather than starting with a completely blank slate, we worked several of the existing plants into the new design and built around them. Some of the new plant material available at the nursery was a little smaller than I originally envisioned, but that’s landscaping. Give these plants some time to establish, fill out, and mature, and the space will continue to come together.

One of my favorite parts of this project is the contrast between the Fond du Lac natural stone edging and the Maylen black landscape stone. The lighter limestone against the dark rock gives the beds a clean, modern look that fits the house perfectly.

We’ve also discussed possibly bringing in a few strategically placed accent boulders to add another layer of texture and dimension.

Landscaping is one of those projects that gets better with time. Excited to see what this one looks like as everything grows into the space. 🌱

From overgrown to clean, simple, and built with a purpose. 🪨🌿

Our customer wanted a complete reset around the mailbox, so we removed all of the existing vegetation and invasive ivy, cleaned out the root system, reworked the bed, and finished it with fresh mulch and strategically placed Indiana granite boulders.

The boulders give the bed a natural, updated look while also creating a more substantial visual barrier around the mailbox for those Indiana snowplows this winter. ❄️

And we’re not quite finished yet… plants are coming soon to add the finishing touch!

🌿 From completely overgrown to completely reclaimed.

This property had gotten to the point where the backyard was nearly unusable. Tall weeds, heavy overgrowth, volunteer trees and vines had taken over.

Our 5 Star Mowing crew came in and gave it a full reset. 💪

✅ Cut down and removed heavy overgrowth
