Doug and Tracy are some of my favorite people—and favorite clients!

I’ve been lucky enough to work on their home several times over the years.

One year it was their patio, pergola and retaining wall. The next year, their composite deck. And this year, they trusted TT Renovations with their master bathroom!

There’s probably no better compliment in this business than having clients invite you back year after year to work on another part of their home.

Feeling fortunate for clients who trust us enough to refer us to their friends.

Missy and Fred came to us after finding themselves in an unfortunate situation with a project that had been left unfinished and needed corrections.

We were able to step in, get things back on track, and properly install the steps, patio, railings and posts to create this beautiful outdoor space. Unfortunately not without losing half of the smaller cut material as you see.

And judging by the pictures, I think the dogs approve too. 😂🐶

Thank you, Missy and Fred, for trusting us with your home and allowing us to finish this project for you. We truly appreciate it!

Thankful to get to do this fun wall, kitchen, and patio for Teresa. One of my wife’s tennis friends that reached out. Love doing projects for clients who are open to our interpretation! She scared me a little. She told me to just pick everything out, “I trust your judgment.” Apparently she hasn’t hung out with Brooke in awhile😂.
Big thanks Teresa for trusting us with your backyard and enough to refer us on to our next job!

Posting on Facebook for business has been a little eye-opening for me.

I get why I need to do it. I own small businesses, I have a family to take care of, people who depend on these companies, and showing our work helps us continue to grow.

But self-promotion has never come very naturally to me. I’ve been fortunate that I’ve never really measured my own value by how much money I make or what I own, so the whole “look what I can do” side of social media feels a little strange.

What does feel right is saying thank you.

People trust us with their homes—usually their most important physical asset—and allow us to tear things apart and put them back together again. That’s a pretty big vote of confidence.

So I think that’s what I want this page to be more about.

I’ll still show the projects, because I’m proud of the work. But I’d rather use them as an opportunity to thank the clients who trusted us to do them and the employees, subcontractors and tradespeople who actually make all of this possible.

Is that the best social media strategy? Maybe. Maybe not.

But it feels a lot more like me, so expect to see much more of that!

Turns out they’re right. 😂

After spending years building outdoor spaces, We finally finished ours.

I guess eventually I have to stop calling it a “showcase project” and admit I just wanted a cool backyard. 😂

Feeling thankful for all the good people I work with! Owning your own business can be fun, terrible, expensive and rewarding all at the same time! Like when I just had my radiator replaced in the dumpster truck and the same day a bracket in the engine broke and cut my new radiator.
Good people like Tony at Exquisite Vehicle Repair and my drivers Steve and Vince have been great. Huge shout to Bob Mooney for running my dumpsters for several days! Would be lost without them!
